I just wanted to send a brief note to thank all of you at Lumley Castle for what was a fantastic experience this weekend.
The building is magnificent, the food fantastic and the staff were amazing.
Right from when we arrived we were made extremely welcome and well looked after (pampered even). The girls in the bar who served our afternoon tea, drinks late into the night and breakfast the following morning were brilliant and you should be very proud to have such dedicated and accomplished staff. Please pass on my gratitude to them for a most memorable stay.
The food too, deserves a special mention. With such a large number of covers to deal with I was very pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food served and the pace of it's delivery, excellent!
Last, but by no means least, the staff on reception, very professional with a good sense of humour, very approachable and helpful.
Without a doubt I will be recommending to my friends and colleagues and hope that I have the opportunity to come and stay with you again.

As head of Training for GE Money I have used many venues however I had the opportunity today to hold a session, having recently used Hilton / Hyatt / Holiday Inns, the courtesy alone surpassed all of these but the atmosphere, facilities and view made a great venue.
