'We recently stayed at the Castle on the 'Romancing' package as part of our 30th Anniversary Celebration, (booked by me as a surprise) and we were not disappointed! On first sighting of the Castle towers, it definitely has the 'wow factor' and this continued as we were shown to our Castle room. Walking around the building, you can't help but keep stopping and taking in the different views of the surroundings, it is a real Castle with an atmpsphere to match. We were greeted by flowers, chocolates and Champagne, the room was very quaint and luxurious, contained within huge thick walls, and situated over one of the main entrances.

We ate in the Black Knight Restaurant on both nights and the food and service were excellent, also on asking the staff, the chef offered some delicious vegetarian choices for Julie, I went for the meat chioces which were also delightful. After our evening meal we walked around the outside of the Castle, which looks equally stunning lit up at night, and this was made extra special by the firework display on the Saturday. Breakfast was also freshly cooked to order and very tasty.

The local staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, and I would recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to come back here again and hopefully try one of the 'Feature' rooms!'
