For those looking to host a special party or event in the privacy of their own exclusive dining room, Lumley Castle has the answer.
The Gilt Room offers dining for up to 14 guests, where you can host your own party in a candlelit suite.
Should you look for the same facilities but for an initmate group, The Sceptre Room offers the same elegant surrounding for up to 10 guests.

'We just wanted to say a big thank you to all at Lumley Castle for making our special day perfect, it was all absolutely fabulous.
The food was exceptional, please pass on our thanks to the chef, our waiter for the evening was very polite, helpful and efficient. The private dining room was intimate and cosy, just what we wanted. The castle looked beautiful, decorated and ready for Christmas. The staff, reception, waitress and waiters at breakfast and in the bar the previous evening, were all so very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms everybody was more than happy with, apart from my brother- in - law who was given my mother's room in error, but this was soon rectified.
What a fantastic team of staff and what a fantastic hotel.
