'My husband and I attended Rob and Azi Taylor's wedding at Lumley Castle on 30th September 2011. I am a wheelchair user and was slightly apprehensive. This was totally unfounded. We cannot praise your staff enough, they were all very attentive, kind and considerate to my needs. Nothing was too much trouble for your staff which made me feel special and looked after. Thanks to all who were involved and for making this a special unforgettable day at a most beautiful setting.'

Hi Pamela - Hope all is well.
Just wanted to say how grateful we are to you and all of the staff at Lumley Castle for making our wedding day so special. The service we received from the staff that day was second to none, the room looked fantastic and everything went as planned. We would just like to say a big thank you to the staff at Lumley Castle for making our wedding day such a lovely day.

All the staff were so friendly, yet professional and couldn't do enough for us... Alison especially (our wedding co-ordinator) Who made us immediately feel confident that our day would run smoothly and to our satisfaction. All day Alison was always at hand, making sure everything was going well and also happy to help with everything and anything (even when my dress got tangled around my shoes when walking down the isle... Alison came to the rescue!). We were very impressed & we are very thankful, she helped to make our day perfect.

Other weddings we have attended, at various venues, the food has always been cold and disappointing. Every guest of ours, including ourselves, thought the food was amazing and there was not one cold meal insight, even the last dish to come out the kitchen.
As we were leaving Lumley Castle, we had many bags/gifts to carry, as we were struggling through the castle, a very kind chef came to our rescue and gave us help... Which we later discovered he was the fab chef of our wedding... 'Stu'.

Many people are too quick to complain, so we have wrote this email to give recognition to those that deserve it.

I must thank you for a wonderful wedding day, which we had a Lumley Castle for Lauren & Lee Walker.

It all went off without a hitch, it just flowed. It seemed effortless, but I know it was down to all your planning and experience. Kirsty I love you, you were a delight to deal with, and you helped and advised me so much. I am going to miss you. You are perfect for this job, may you long continue in this position.

Lumley is a beautiful setting. The people from America and London were all very impressed with the castle.The staff were all very pleasant and efficient.

The food was extremely good. It was enjoyed, and praised by a great many guests. Most of all WE loved it. Would you please pass on our comments to Stewart the Chief. He promised us a great meal, and he did not let us down.

I can recommend all of your services, for a wonderful wedding experience. Lauren & Lee had a wonderful day, and evening. As we all did. Thank You From All of Us
