Set in beautiful landscaped grounds, with views across the river Wear and County Durham, and with hundreds of years of history, Lumley Castle provides a magical backdrop for couples to celebrate their wedding day with friends and family. Whilst the Bride and Groom and their guests can choose to stay in the individually designed castle bedchambers - providing unique accommodation and the perfect end to a perfect day.
We can cater for up to 80 guests for civil marriage ceremonies, and our state rooms can hold up to 132 guests for wedding receptions. We can also cater for more intimate weddings with special packages available for between 10 and 30 guests all at our castle.
