Hi Pamela, Hope you are well and had a good Christmas and New Year. I just wanted to email about mine and David’s wedding on the 10th November 2012. We had the most fantastic day and all of the staff were brilliant. Everything went as we wanted it to and the venue is absolutely stunning. We were so lucky to have brilliant weather. June who was our wedding coordinator on the day was absolutely brilliant and made the whole day go smoothly. The chocolate fountain was fantastic and everyone really loved it. Morning Pamela, Can I just say the biggest thank you ever from myself and Jeanie for the fantastic day we had on Sunday. The setting , the food, the service and eventually the weather were absolutely perfect. You and your team have got this wedding business nailed. Our day went like a dream. We cannot thank your staff enough and especially Keith. He made the day run perfectly, his planning and attention to detail was just amazing. We will be recommending his services to anyone we know who choose the castle as a wedding venue. That man certainly goes the extra mile.

A big thank you for having the Christmas decorations in place, they looked stunning. Everyone who came to the wedding said it had been the best one they had ever been too.

Dear Pamela, Firstly can I say a huge thank you to all of the staff involved in our day, 1st September. Craig and myself had a fantastic day. The Barons Hall was set up beautifully and the food was amazing. All of our guests commented on how nice the food was, it’s hard to please everybody but Lumley Castle certainly did that. Hello Pamela, What can I say except a massive THANK YOU to you all at Lumley for helping to make Kathryn and James’ Wedding Day absolutely PERFECT. Every single thing during the whole day was a massive success and Kathryn and James had a wonderful time with many many happy memories. All our guests commented on the delicious meal, the attention and service they were given by members of staff  and the relaxed but yet grand atmosphere during the whole day. James and Kathryn were smiling all day, were relaxed and so happy and were thrilled with all the surprises. Fantastic from the minute we walked through the door…

Hi Jane, Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay with you all at the castle on Saturday night. All the staff were very friendly, professional and could not do enough for us making us feel very welcome. The bride and groom to be, who joined us for dinner on saturday night were delighted and now can not wait for their own wedding reception with you. A special thank you to the two girls who were on reception on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. They were fantastic from the minute we walked through the door, nothing was too much trouble, and took a lot of time to answer my questions about who had and had not yet booked their accommodation for the wedding next year. They are a credit to your hotel and a perfect first impression – brilliant! Hi Fiona/Donna, A short message of thanks to you both as well as all the staff involved with our wedding (particularly Keith on the day) for all the hard work in organising the wedding and making sure it was a success on the day. Hi Pamela, I attended Sam & Ashleigh’s wedding at your hotel on Saturday 28th April 2012. I am writing to you to highlight how excellent Alison and her team were. I was an Usher on the day and as such was responsible for liaising with her and her team. Their assistance and professionalism made the day run so smoothly and made what could have could have been a very stressful day a lot easier. Dear sir or madam, My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding on Sunday 18th March at your hotel. We would like to thank you all for making our day fantastic. Everyone of your staff went out of their way to accommodate us. A special thanks must go to Keith the wedding coordinator. My son only booked the venue 4 weeks prior to the wedding and I didn’t think we would be able to pull it all together. Keith told us he would take care of everything on the day and he did.
