Bishop Suite

The Bishops Suite is a beautifully individually styled and spacious bedroom that comes with its own separate lounge. There are two additional single beds in the connecting room, that makes the suite perfect to accommodate a family of four. There is a family bathroom, with toilet, off the main bedroom. The twin has a small washroom (no toilet). Located on the second floor in the castle makes this room ideally located and central to all residential areas. Named after the historic Bishops of Durham this suite enjoys stunning southeast views over rolling parkland.

As part of the castle’s character, some of our bedrooms are reached via spiral staircases or traditional flights of stairs. If you have any mobility concerns, our team will be happy to advise on the most suitable room for your stay.
