From Castle to Courtyard

There are 72 bedrooms at Lumley Castle. Choose from Classic, Superior and Feature Rooms, both in the Castle or the Courtyard. Or, for unadulterated luxury, book into one of our three suites – the King James, the Queen Anne or the Bishop’s.

While all of our bedrooms are well-appointed, comfortable and individually-styled, the three suites are truly fit for royalty, with features such as a four-poster bed, roll-top or even a Jacuzzi bath, separate lounge and views over rolling woodland parkland.

As part of the castle’s character, some of our bedrooms are reached via spiral staircases or traditional flights of stairs. If you have any mobility concerns, our team will be happy to advise on the most suitable room for your stay.
